Shipping Information

By popular demand we provide individual grocery items, refrigerated and frozen items (must be shipped separately to kept cold) as well as bulk and case orders that are heavier and may require unique shipping protocols. Shoppers will have the option upon checkout to determine the method for shipping (quickly or slowly pending price)  Orders are shipped standard ground and/or expedited ship options at the sole cost to the consumer plus a handling charge. Strictly Gluten Free shoppers will choose a carrier based on the options provided during the checkout process. We’ve made it easy to find your favorite products or new ones and have them conveniently shipped directly to your home.

 

GROCERY ORDERS

Grocery orders are products that are not refrigerated/frozen items. Orders placed Monday-Friday 8AM-7PM EST will be processed in our computer systems same day upon successful credit card authorization. Once orders have been processed they will be shipped within 24-48 hours. Orders place after hours will be processed in our computer systems during the next business day. Please be patient as we fulfill your orders in a timely manner.

  • SGF applies a $4.75 handling fee for most non-frozen items per order and we pass it on to the shopper fairly. We do everything we can to save cost in the processing  steps to deliver our customers a low price door too door.

FROZEN ORDERS

On all orders which include frozen items placed on Wednesday-Sunday to ensure freshness of products they will be shipped out on Monday. However in certain instances depending upon shipping destination frozen orders may be released for shipment on Wednesday. Frozen orders may also be shipped separately and therefore would arrive separately if you also have products in your order that is not delivered frozen. Orders placed will be accompanied by a tracking number therefore it is required that someone be present to accept and sign for the delivery on the first attempt. Keep in mind that shipping a frozen order requires a corrugated box that includes a ice/box that incurs a handling fee. Please be patient as we fulfill your orders in a timely manner.

  • All frozen items are also provided a value (i.e. .25, .5, .75, 1, 1.5 and so on to 5) determining its frozen attribute based on sizes (area in inches) in fitting into a frozen corrugated box. Each frozen sale will be determined by the option of two corrugated boxes (small and Xsmall size) and dry ice. Dry Ice has a weight of 5 lbs blocks on average and the minimum amount of dry ice added to frozen orders is 8 lbs and maximum will be 22 lbs. The dry ice determination is mostly dependent upon space and mostly shipping destination. We suggest you adjust your frozen items to get the best home delivery.
  • SGF applies a $4.75 frozen handling fee per order for processing of orders.
  • SGF applies an additional frozen handling fee using a tiered structure for the corrugated box, frozen container & dry ice to package frozen items.  There are two classes of frozen corrugated boxes Xsmall & Small sizes.  This breakdown is as follows:
    • The Xsmall frozen box can accommodate frozen unit sizes up to 5 (see frozen product values above) and the tiered handling fees that will apply are for the initial box $9.80 and all subsequent boxes in the same sizing configurations $7.05, $4.30, $1.55 and $0.99 for each additional box required respectively.
    • The Small frozen box can accommodate frozen unit sizes up to 10 (see frozen product values above) and the tiered handling fees that will apply are for the initial box $10.50 and all subsequent boxes in the same sizing configurations $7.75, $5.00, $2.25 and $0.99 for each additional box required respectively.

 

MULTIPLE SHIPPING ATTEMPTS

Strictly Gluten Free will not be liable for products that have been spoiled due to multiple delivery attempts. On orders that include both frozen and grocery items they will be packaged and shipped separately. At times the frozen and grocery packages may not arrive in one delivery.

 

SPECIAL ORDERS

Any special ordered product(s) requested by any customer must be paid in full at the time of the order. There may be additional fees applied to process and/or to ship the order which are to be determined at a date prior to shipment. A special ordered item is non-refundable unless it has been preauthorized by the company.

 

BULK / CASE ORDERS

These items are labeled as case products and will be heavier than a regular item. Since they’re being shipped in bulk directly to your home choose the most appropriate shipping method that meets the urgency of receiving the shipment. Many of our customers shop in bulk and love the convenience. Please be patient as we fulfill your orders in a timely manner.
